Speak Truth to Power

Partnership for Change is partnering with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights to bring the Speak Truth To Power Program (STTP) to Norway for the first-time ever! The STTP educational and cultural program uses real life stories of activists to educate children and young people about human rights and inspire audiences to stand up for their beliefs and values. The program was established by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights in the United States. The basis for the program is the book “Speak Truth To Power” (2000) written by Kerry Kennedy, head of the RFK Center and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy. It consists of interviews with 50 human rights activists from around the world who have stood up against power, abuse and injustice. STTP began as a book written by Kerry Kennedy with photos by Eddie Adams, was adapted into a play by Ariel Dorfman, and is now a human rights education curriculum taught to hundreds of thousands students around the world.
