Community education in Inle and Chin

 

PfC Knowledge Sharing Center

The PfC Knowledge Sharing Center is a center based out of Yangon providing ESL, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship training for women, youth, and vulnerable groups such as former political prisoners. We work all over Myanmar, including Inle Lake, Yangon, and Chin state.

 

 

Inle Speaks Community Skills Development Center

Inle Speaks is a community resource center committed to support local communities in Inle area to achieve a sustainable way of life in harmony with their environment.

Inle Speaks runs programs to increase skills and job opportunities for youth such as basic business programs, and ESL and computer literacy programs, while raising environmental awareness and cultural sensitivity through activities like trash clean-up. Inle Speaks acts as an important arena for people coming together, sharing knowledge, and working together for a sustainable development of the Inle region.

 

Chin State Community Education 

PfC Community education programs based out of Kanpetlet, Southern Chin State, provides programs for youth teaching ESL, computer literacy, community project development, and environmental awareness. As the area becomes a focus for tourism, our programs have a special focus on promoting sustainable tourism development, job opportunities, and community project management and development.
